Finally, the day has come when we will be able to set off for the third time on what are definitely the most beautiful courses in our country. The 3rd TRAIL VELIKA PLANINA will take place this Sunday, August 31, starting at 10:00 a.m. in front of the Zeleni rob restaurant on Velika planina, which will also be the finish line and the location of the award ceremony.
ACCESS TO THE START AND FINISH AREA:
- by cable car
- on foot from the parking lots with access in Kranjski Rak
REGISTRATION DESK:
At the registration desk, you will be able to pick up your race numbers and registration packages for pre-registered participants (identification with ID required), and we will also be accepting new registrations by filling out the registration form and paying the registration fee. Check the REGISTRATIONS LIST HERE. If your name is not confirmed and you have paid, please bring your payment confirmation with you to the registration service.
NEW REGISTRATIONS: will also be possible on the day of the event by filling out a registration form and paying the entry fee at the registration desk.
ENTRY FEES ARE AVAILABLE BELOW:
- HIKERS (non-competitive), 30 EUR
- SHORT COURSE 6.7 km, 35 EUR
- MEDIUM COURSE 13.5 km, 40 EUR
- LONG COURSE 29.5 km, 50 EUR
THE PROGRAM IS AS FOLLOWS:
- 8:00 a.m. collection of start numbers and packages
- 9:30 a.m. welcome speech and presentation of courses
- 10:00 a.m. START OF ALL ROUTES (joint)
- 10:40 a.m. arrival of the first competitors from the short course at the finish line
- 11:00 a.m. arrival of the first competitors from the medium course at the finish line
- 1:00 p.m. arrival of the first competitors from the longest course at the finish line
- 1:30 p.m. start of the announcement and award ceremony
HOT MEAL AT THE FINISH LINE: All participants will receive a voucher for a hot meal at the finish line. The voucher will be given upon return of the START NUMBER to the registration desk.
WEATHER:
The event will take place in all weather conditions, but the weather will be nice, so bring your smile and plenty of positive energy. Don’t forget to dress warmly, as we are at an altitude of 1.500 m and summer temperatures no longer apply there. Temperatures are expected to range from 7 degrees (in the morning) to 15 degrees (at noon and in the afternoon). In short, ideal temperatures for running, but a little less so for sunbathing.
