Despite moving our inaugural event to sunday, when the weather forecast was significantly better than on Saturday, luck was not on our side with the weather. Extremely low temperatures (around 5 degrees) and continuous rain throughout the day posed a real challenge for participants. Despite frostbitten faces and forced smiles, we successfully concluded the event without complications, and the award ceremony took place in the warm environment of the Zeleni rob cottage. The cottage was filled to the last corner, and at the award ceremony, the director of Velika Planina company, Tomaž Štefe, presented beautiful prizes, commemorative plaques, and medals to the fastest participants, both overall and in their respective categories.
